Building Open Now
We want to extend a warm
welcome to you as we are now
meeting in our new facility
at 2004 Western Avenue in
Chillicothe, Ohio.
It is our goal to use this meeting place to continue
the work that we set out to accomplish since we started this church plant, three and half years
ago.
We feel blessed to have the opportunity to be a part
of this community and we pray that you will allow us to
serve you.
Come join us as we seek to serve God and share the
love of Christ. It is our aim to please the Lord in all
things. We hope to see you soon.

Letting God’s Spirit lead me on level ground has been a
journey. I often
start out by asking God to guide me and let His will be
done, but then I interject my own wisdom and opinions.
I have found myself praying, “God, let this work
out for me because I want it so badly.”
I use God like a magic genie who grants my
wishes, rather than a sovereign God who rules the
universe in love and desires spiritual redemption on my
behalf. I make
my requests
to God based on my own wisdom rather than praying for
His will to be done in my life.
I often forget that He knows what is best and
will give me what is best.
As I practice the art of surrendering to God, I am
learning that there is great freedom to be found in
submitting my will to His.
When I submit, the pressure is off of me to
do and say the right things.
My apprehensions are shattered when I realize
that “it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives
in me.”
